The Quebec Mosque Killings: A Day in the Life of a BBC News Story

How ironic it is that on the day that many people are protesting against Donald Trump's actions regarding Muslim refugees and nationals (actually, states that happen to be Muslim), one Muslim refugee and a native Quebecan attack a mosque in Quebec and kill six people.

Earlier today, BBC News (the BBC's internet news outlet) was very keen to highlight the possibility that the killings were an example of “Islamophobia”. Indeed the attack was its main item. (The story itself went under the heading: 'Quebec City mosque shooting: Six killed, eight wounded'.) So much so that it concentrated on Quebecan racism (as many other papers have) and a previous attack on a Quebecan mosque – when a pig's head was placed in the doorway! This is what the BBC wrote:

In June last year the same mosque was the target of an Islamophobic incident when a pig's head was left in front of the building, with a card saying 'bonne appetit'. Eating pork is forbidden in Islam.”

As news began to come in that one attacker was, in fact, a Moroccan Arab, the BBC's main news itself was changed to yet more of its repetitive anti-Trump stuff. (The main news item was now: 'Trump executive order: Million sign petition to stop UK visit'.)

Whatever the situation is, at first people like Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were hoping - or even praying - that this was a “Islamophobic” attack. Trudeau, for example, said:

"Muslim-Canadians are an important part of our national fabric, and these senseless acts have no place in our communities, cities and country."

This might well have been another violent act in the 1,400-year-old Sunni-vs.-Shia Islamic civil war. As it is, though, the rumours are that the Quebecan mosque is Ahmadiyya. Both Sunnis and Shia regard Ahmadiyya as non-Muslims. (Or as “animals”.) Indeed, in virtually all Sunni countries, Shia and Ahmadiyya mosques have frequently been attacked by Sunni terrorists. Now it seems that this has come to Europe – as it was bound to do!

This is a list of the Sunni states/peoples which/who persecute Ahmadiyya Muslims:

Saudi Arabia

Sunnis also persecute Ahmadiyya in non-Muslim countries, such as the United Kingdom, Bulgaria and Belgium.

What about Shia in Sunni countries? They're persecuted in the following countries:

Saudi Arabia

Indeed, Shia are bombed and terrorised even in Shia-majority countries, such as Iraq.

The bottom line is that just as Islam was bound to bring terrorism, sexual slavery, sharia law, etc. to Europe and America; so the Islamic Sunni-vs.-Shia civil war was bound to arrive here too.

This Islamic violence will never dissipate. It will only get worse.
