Iftikhar Ahmad’s Campaign for Islam in UK Schools

I posted a piece called “The Islamisation of British Schools” on my blog. That post was re-blogged on the Defender of the Faith – Guardian of Truth blog ( It received a few comments from an Iftikhar Ahmad. Actually, they weren’t really comments at all – more cut-and-pastes that weren’t directly related to my post at all.

Iftikhar Ahmad runs a website called ‘The London School of Islamics”. What material there is on his website has been cut-and-pasted and used as the comments I’ve just mentioned.

When you read Ahmed’s comments there’s lots of fluffy stuff about “tolerance”, “diversity” and the joys of “bilingualism” - rather than the “monolingualism” imposed upon Muslim school kids in UK schools. However, lying beneath all this subterfuge and multiculturalist sound-biting is an Islamic agenda which is so obvious that I doubt that even his Leftist enablers will fail to see it.

This is a long quote from Ahmed himself (one of the comments):

“[Islamic schools] need state funded Muslim schools with bilingual Muslim teachers as role models during their developmental periods. There is no place for a non-Muslim child or a teacher in a Muslim school. There are hundreds of state and church schools where Muslim children are in majority. In my opinion all such schools may be opted out as Muslim Academies. British society must learn to respect and tolerate those who are different. A Muslim is a citizen of this tiny global village. He/she does not want to become notoriously monolingual Brit. He/she is supposed to be well versed in standard English, Arabic, Urdu and other community languages, to be part of the British society.”

The above is duplicitous bullshit! All Ahmed’s talk about not wanting a monolingual education system is subterfuge. No one has ever suggested that. Very many English students and pupils can speak Spanish, German, Italian and all sorts of other languages. But Ahmed is only really talking about learning Arabic and Urdu (Pakistani Muslims speak Urdu). He is a Muslim who’s using Islamic taqiyya to advance Islam and the cause of Muslims. And, as is often the case, he, like many other Muslims, is holding up various false flags: such as claiming to be fighting for tolerance, for human rights and, in this case, for bilingualism (rather than monolingualism). But he’s not fighting for the teaching of various languages in British schools at all. He’s fighting for Muslims and their right to learn and speak – in school – Islamic languages (Arabic and also Urdu).

If you read the quote above on the prime importance of the Arabic language in Islam, you will clearly see exactly where Iftikhar Ahmad is really coming from

He is not a lover of bilingualism. He’s an Islamic dawah merchant. That manifests itself in his love of Islam’s Arabocentrism (or Arabic racism). In Ahmed’s particular case, it manifests itself in his desire to spread the learning of the Arab language in UK schools in order to further Islam itself. Or, as he puts it, he is attempting to further “bilingualism” (why not multilingualism?) in order to further Islam itself.

All his talk of “bilingualism”, “diversity” and ‘tolerance” is an example of a Muslim using the multiculturalist memes and soundbites of our day in order to carry out the Islamising project. He knows he has to talk in these terms in order to further Islam. Or in order to further his own special subdivision of advancing Islam – the learning of Arabic and Urdu in British schools.

Iftikhar Ahmad claims that Muslim school kids

“have been mis-educated and -educated by non-Muslim monolingual teachers during their developmental periods.”

You can see the deceitful way in which Ahmed fuses teachers not knowing the language of their Muslim pupils with teachers not being Muslims. Fair enough, you can see how teachers not knowing the languages of Muslim pupils may cause difficulties – but teachers not being Muslim as well? Here Ahmed has gone beyond his pretend focus on language (or on “bilingualism”) to his real focus – Islam.

He talks about diversity and tolerance but he’s demanding that all English teachers of Muslims must be Muslims too – and that’s the exact opposite of tolerance and diversity. And if Muslim kids can’t speak English in England, it’s their responsibility - or their parents - to learn English. It’s not the responsibility of English teachers to learn Arabic and/or Urdu.

In addition,  Ahmed doesn’t really care about Muslim pupils themselves being monolingual at all as long as they are monoglots of the Arabic language (like Allah himself); or at least a language spoken by Muslims. He is only against English being the only language - but he’s not against Arabic or Urdu being the only language. His praise for bilingualism is, therefore, manifestly false because all it amounts to is his Islamist demand that all teachers and pupils lean Arabic and/or Urdu.

Ahmed is asking for the Islamisation of British schools – both non-Islamic (but with Muslim pupils) schools and Islamic schools. That’s at the heart of all his fluffy talk about “bilingualism” and “diversity”.

Multiculturalism, diversity and tolerance aren’t endorsed or acted upon in any Muslim/Islamic country. He knows that. I know that. Most people know that. And I even bet that some of his non-Muslim friends, the Enablers of Islam, know that. That’s why his post is so full to the brim of disgusting deceit – full of Islamic taqiyya.

Again, show me a Muslim country which is in any way like the way Ahmed pretends he wants England to be. Instead, what you have, in the Domain of Islam, is death for apostasy, death for blasphemy and the massive persecution of hundreds of thousands of Christians and other non-Muslim groups.

So now you must ask:

Why does Islam endorse and encourage lying on such a vast and systematic scale?

We know Muhammad lied and that the Koran, hadiths, etc. encourage lying to advance and/or protect Islam. But why does Ahmed think that all kuffar will fall for his lies? England isn’t a giant InterFaith meeting and he’s not always going to be talking to the BBC, the Guardian or to the Leftist Enablers of Islam/Muslims.

We know all about taqiyya.

We know what AIftikhar  Ahmed is up to.

*) Note: Actually, Muslims do believe in rights, diversity, tolerance, etc.

i) They believe in the rights of Muslims and their right to live according to sharia law.
ii) They believe in a diversity which will embrace Islam and Muslims – which will allow Muslims to live by sharia law.
iii) They believe in the tolerance of Muslims and only in the tolerance of Muslims.
iv) They believe in multiculturalism to the extent it accommodates Muslims and allows them to live by sharia law.

Above and beyond the Islamic- and Muslim-specificity of all these notions, Muslims do not believe in tolerance, rights, diversity and multiculturalism.
