'EDL THREATEN TO "CLOSE YOUR TOWNS" OVER XMAS BANS' [from: the Daily Star]

The war is hotting up.

This is the first article I have read, from both the national and regional media, that hasn't been critical of the EDL. But the Daily Star could hardly be too critical of the EDL if we bear in mind that, according to its poll, 98% of its own readers fear that the UK is 'turning into an Islamic state'. The Daily Star knows that it cannot simply ignore its readership on such matters as Islam, Islamism and the sharia-isation of our country.

Perhaps we can expect more objective, or unbiased, articles on the EDL from the Daily Star. And if that becomes the case, I would advise EDL members to stop reading the Sun, the Mirror, the Daily Mail, etc. and start reading the Daily Star - after all, there are not many tabloids which are fair to the EDL.

But we don't demand sycophancy from the Daily Star, just a tiny bit of objectivity and a lot less hatred of the EDL.

Also, the EDL should demand the Islamic festival Eid should be renamed 'the Moon Festival' or something, if our seasonal traditions are tampered with anymore. If Muslims hate Christmas, and all things non-Muslim or Christian, then what's to stop them migrating to Saudi Arabia, Iran or Pakistan? But they won't because at the very time they are attempting to destroy British culture and traditions, they are also benefiting big time from living here. The hypocrisy is nauseating!

So if Muslims are 'offended' by Christmas, we are also offended by Ramadan and Eid. And we are most certainly offended by Burka-clad Islamists walking our streets with their middle finger pointing upwards.

We are offended by the burkha.
We are offended by mega-mosques.
We are offended when Islam4UK and Muslims against the Crusades march on our streets.
We are offended by halal meat being sold in non-Muslim food outlets.
We are offended by the swimming pools which have had their windows blackened-out lest we see Muslims in the flesh.

A FAR-RIGHT group has vowed to “close down” any town that ditches British traditions and shows favouritism to Muslims.

The English Defence League said it has written to every council in the country threatening a mass invasion if they ban the word “Christmas”.

It includes using the term “winter festival” in case Christmas upsets Muslims.

EDL leader Stephen Lennon said “working class people” in the UK were “at boiling point” over what he says is the “Islamisation of Britain.”

His declaration comes after yesterday’s Daily Star poll found 98% of readers fear that Britain is becoming a Muslim state.

He said: “If the politicians aren’t going to stick up for us, we will make them, because we will cause so much fuss and so much noise they are going to have to listen.

“We will not back down or be beaten into submission. We don’t care if you call us racists. We are coming anyway. We are going to continue doing it until someone listens.”

The EDL was set up last year after Islamic extremists hijacked a homecoming parade for British troops in Luton, Beds.

On Sunday more than 250 EDL members joined US activist Rabbi Nachum Shifren at an anti-Palestine demo outside the Israeli Embassy in London.

John Cruddas, Labour MP for Dagenham and Rainham, said: “All parties must search for a definition of modern England to choke off what the EDL taps into.”
