Trade unionists, politicians, faith group and community leaders are signing up to a unity statement, opposing the racist English Defence League and supporting the peaceful, multicultural “We are Bradford” event in the city on Saturday 28 August.
Because the UAF/SWP cries ‘fascist’ so much, how can anyone believe it when they say that the BNP is ‘fascist’? What do they mean by ‘fascist’? How do they define it? These people used to call the Conservative Party fascist in the 1980s – perhaps they still do! All sorts of individuals and groups have been classed as ‘fascist’ in the SWP’s history. Indeed, how can there be any non-fascists left other than, of course, the SWP itself?]
The EDL is a racist group dedicated to attacking Asian people and Muslims. [The EDL is not a racist group and no matter how many times these Rob-Trots and Trot-zombies say it, the EDL will still not be racist. Don’t these dunderheads read the EDL forum, or its websites? Yes, they do. But only to fight dirt.
Which ‘Asian people’ are the UAF referring to here? The Chinese or Vietnamese? Indian Hindus, Jainists or Sikhs? The EDL has never attacked any of these people. Even Muslims have never been attacked – except in self-defence, in which case, it ain’t attack. And even if someone did attack a Muslim, they may not be attacking him because of the color of his skin or the fact that he’s ‘Asian’.]
Islamophobia – bigotry against Muslims – is as unacceptable as any other form of racism. Its aim is to divide us by making scapegoats of one community, just as the Nazis did with the Jews in the 1930s. [‘Islamophobia’, or plain ‘phobia’, cannot be translated into ‘bigotry’. Fear of Islam is rational, considering the daily toll of the Global Jihad. And considering the Muslim gangs and militants here at home. And why is it ‘bigoted’, or even irrational, to be against Sharia law, Islamism and Islamic terrorism? Isn’t Islamoterrorism a good thing to be bigoted about? I think it is!
What does the UAF mean by ‘scapegoats’? One thing it means is that the UAF is not just about ‘fighting racism and fascism’. The use of the pseudo-technical term ‘scapegoat’ makes it clear that their purpose or aim is far more than fighting racism. The ‘scapegoat’ theory is leftist in origin. It is a reference to the working class, after being ‘brainwashed by the ruling class’, scapegoating ethnic minorities or religious groups in order to divert attention from the ruling classes true culpability as well in order to ‘divide and rule’ (another phrase used by Trots).
Thus UAF is offering up a Marxist analysis of society – or, more specifically, a Marxist analysis of racism and fascism. Thus when you commit yourself to UAF, you commit yourselves to various Marxist analyses of society. Let’s not bullshit here. You commit yourself to Marxism and, more specifically, its ugly child - that is, Trotskyism.]
Today they threaten Muslims. Tomorrow it could be Jewish people, Hindus, Sikhs, black people, lesbians and gay men, travellers or Eastern Europeans. [Tomorrow – no, today! – Islamists and Leftists are ‘threatening’ and even attacking Jews, whether in British universities or in Israel, etc. Again, this Marxist analysis of the racist slippery slope is also Marxist in origin. It was derived from a Marxist analysis of what happened in Germany in the late 1920s and 30s. But the inconvenient truth is that the situation today in England is miles away, in all sorts of ways, from the Germany of the 1930s. No amount of reading Marxist historical analyses of 1930s Germany or 1936 England and Mosley’s blackshirts, will change that fact. The Marxist analyses simply don’t work. It is all theory with very little content or truth.
In any case, wouldn’t it be a bit odd to ‘attack black people and Sikhs’ considering the fact that the EDL has black and Sikh members? That doesn’t matter. All UAF will now say is that these black and Sikh EDL members are mere ‘Uncle Toms’ or ‘poster boys’. Either that or they’ll say that the EDL is simply lying about its black and Sikh members. However, all they need to do is look at a few photos of the EDL demos and other places and see.
Yes, blacks and Sikhs are still a minority in the EDL. That’s because they are minorities in the UK as a whole. How could the EDL have many more black or Sikh members – by positive discrimination perhaps?]
There is no place for Nazis, racists or the BNP in Bradford’s multiracial, multicultural and multi-faith community. [Those UAF from Hackney or London generally, like Martin Smith, should do some research into the glorious multicultural nature of Bradford. Perhaps then they would find out about the many Muslim ghettoes in Bradford; about Muslim racism towards blacks and other ethnic minorities; about the Muslim gangs marauding the streets; about the Crack/Heroin Jihad against all non-Muslims… and so on.]
We also urge people to attend the peaceful ‘We are Bradford’ multicultural celebration to be held in the city centre on August 28th.
